SOAR formally known as The Interventional Spine Institute of Florida was created by Dr. Brian Dowdell in 2003. From its inception the practice has focused on providing Pain Management services through the application of advanced interventional pain therapy.

In addition to serving the population of Brevard County Interventional Spine Institute of Florida has increased its referral base to include patients from other parts of Florida and the southern states.

As the practice has grown the professional additions have been Dr. John Madlener and Raphael Reyes, Physicians Assistant. Their additions have brought an additional dimension to the practice.

In addition to the main office located at 308 S. Harbor City Blvd in Melbourne the practice has begun operations at its Rockledge facility on Commerce Drive off of Murrell Road.

The practice has invested in its staff and facility resources and is strategically positioning itself as a premier medical center in Brevard County.

To better reflect our expanded services in Spinal care, Orthopedics, pain management and rehabilitation, Dr. Dowdell chose to rename the practice (SOAR) Spine, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation.

With the addition of Dr. Robert Ville we are now able to offer Chiropractic care and Acupuncture which are a compliment to our interests in comprehensive musculoskeletal care.
